Everyone has a favourite EGO. But as time rolls on, the demands of the game and the advancements in technology make it harder to take them for a spin in a competitive environment. Until now. To give our all-conquering poppet legend a fitting send off into retirement we’ve remastered our two most revered EGO styles and brought them back to life with all the very latest performance. The iconic SL8R from 2008 and the CSL from 2011 were considered peak EGO and now, with a few subtle tweaks, they‘re back!

Why?

Good question. We wanted to give the LV2 a fitting tribute, so Chief Marker Designer (Matt Mahoney) took this opportunity to make his original SL8R and CSL designs more refined. So here we are. These remastered, super-limited markers pay homage to the original iconic designs of the very best poppet marker on the Planet.

Other than the nostalgic styling cues, the SL8R and CSL come with a few useful updates to keep the platform ripping at the very top of the poppet food chain. The highly acclaimed Eclipse S63 Pro FL Barrel System, complete with our PE x CRBN Nano Tip and two Eclipse PWR Inserts ensure they offer the very best levels of precision for players looking to enjoy the ultimate LV2 experience.

Electronics:

A subtle, but incredibly powerful upgrade to the MME (Modular Marker Electronics) stack is the NXL Pro Mode, making it quicker to access essential performance and compliance data instantly, for both players and refs in the heat of the moment. The Bluetooth® module is fitted for E-Portal Lite access.

Sort of. Remember that cool, highly sought after keyring we shipped with the GEO GSL in 2012? Both the SL8R and the CSL will have their own collectable keyring to show off your ownership of these super-limited markers. Just 200 of each style will be released.
