Lone Wolf Paintball Reduces Paint and Field Costs,
Moves to Field Paint Only Operation

To our loyal customers,

At Lone Wolf Paintball, we are continually searching for new ways to enhance and improve the player experience at our fields.

After discussing several new ideas with many of our new and long-standing customers, we have decided to institute the following changes to our field pricing and policies effective Monday, June 13th, 2011:

  1. Both Lone Wolf East and West will operate under a “Field Paint Only” (FPO) policy.
  2. Costs for paint purchases and playtime will be reduced to the following rates:
    • Cases of 2,000 paintballs will now be priced at $45 (original price: $60)
    • Costs for non-members for open play and unlimited air fills (CO2 or HPA) will be reduced to $15 (original price: $25)
    • Lone Wolf Paintball members will receive open play and unlimited air fills (CO2 or HPA) at no charge for each session (original price: $20)

For rental players and private parties, these changes will be unnoticeable. Lone Wolf has always required that players who do not own their own equipment or are members of a private party shoot field paint at both our East and West fields.

However, our new and regular customers that have their own equipment might be asking, “Why switch to FPO?”

The following key points strongly influenced our decision:

  • Better Game Experience
By moving to FPO, we expect the quality of our games to improve immensely. Our referees will be able to officiate games more accurately and call players out even faster due to the use of universal paint colors on the field.
  • Affordable Premium Paint
Far too often, we witness players using subpar paintballs at our fields. These paintballs typically retail for $30 to $40 and are purchased at big-box stores. Unfortunately, these paintballs are usually made overseas, stored improperly at retail locations and cause paintball guns to deteriorate at a faster pace. By reducing our field paint costs to match most retailers and providing top-quality, premium paintballs from New Jersey-based KEE Action Sports, we strongly believe that we can provide a better AND more affordable field experience for both new and seasoned players.
  • Improved Field Safety
We take the safety of our players very seriously. While occurrences are extremely rare, we have removed players from games in the past due to tampering with paintballs and markers. Additionally, customers are often unaware that they’re shooting specific types of paintballs that could pose a danger to other players. For example, winter formulated paint shot during warmer weather may pose a safety risk. By moving to an FPO operation, we will virtually eliminate these concerns.

As a courtesy to all of our customers, we will allow players with their own equipment to bring their own paint and will honor our former BYOP rates ($25 for non-members, $20 for members) until Sunday, July 31, 2011. This will allow players to get acclimated to our new policies.

If you have any questions regarding these new changes to our pricing and field operations, please call our main office at 586-463-9500 or email us at info@lonewolfpaintball.com

We thank all of you for your continued patronage and support through this important transition.
